Jason Bradbury
Jason’s
interest in Theatre began at school where he performed in Patience,
West Side Story and Guys and Dolls. At the age of 17 he joined the
Canterbury Amateur Operatic Society for their
production
of Viva Mexico at the Marlowe Theatre. Jason then spent several years
away from amateur operatics whilst at University and following a Civil Service
career around the UK. After moving into the Bath area in 2001, Jason’s interest
was renewed when he saw BLOG’s 2002 production of The Sound of Music, at
the Theatre Royal. Since becoming a BLOG member Jason has thoroughly enjoyed
performing in Songs from the Shows, and the group’s Theatre Royal productions of
Me and My Girl, The Pirates of Penzance , and Anything Goes.
Jason was thrilled to play the part of Enoch Snow in BLOG’s 2006 production -
Carousel. When not working or rehearsing, Jason enjoys golf, playing the
piano and, most of all, spending time with his family.

David Tucker
David
has been involved with amateur theatre for over 50 years, having first got
hooked whilst dancing in pantomime as a child. As a teenager he was a founder
member of the Stothert & Pitt Drama Group, later to become the Bath Phoenix
Players, with whom he appeared in many productions, playing in comedy, farce,
drama, children’s theatre and musicals. Since the mid 70s David has split his
time between performing and directing (and occasionally choreographing!) and
produced numerous shows for the Bath Phoenix Players, including their popular
“Phollies” revues, for which he often wrote comedy material and created musical
arrangements. Over the years he has also worked with a number of other theatre
groups in the area, both as performer and director.
In 1988 David joined BLOG to play Harrison Howell in Kiss Me
Kate and stayed! He has since played a number of principal roles for the
company, including Hinesie in The Pajama Game, Ali Hakim
in Oklahoma, Jeff in Brigadoon, Alfred
Locke in Blitz, Nathan Detroit in Guys and
Dolls, Sir John in Me and My Girl and, his favourite,
Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady. He has also directed BLOG’s
popular Songs from the Shows concerts for the last 6 years and written many of
the musical arrangements. He is also a pianist and has accompanied BLOG in some
of their charity performances.
